Welcome to Eastleigh North & Test Valley South PBC Locality Online

With the recent publication of the Government's White Paper, GPs are being encouraged to become involved in Clinical Commissioning, which builds upon the work previouslyundertaken under Practice-Based Commissioning (PBC). Primary Care professionals including GPs, nurses and practice teams will be increasingly influential in deciding what services will be commissioned.

13 GP practices across Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, North Baddesley & Romsey came together to form the Eastleigh North & Test Valley South PBC Locality in May 2010. There has been a strong focus on building relationships within the locality and there is a regular monthly meeting to steer the work of the group, monitor progress of ongoing projects and discuss any local health issues.
